Our curriculum includes the study of traditional Ayurvedic pharmaceutical preparations, Panchavidha Kashaya kalpanas (various Ayurvedic Medicine formulations)such as Swarasa, Churnas (Powdered medicines), Kashayas (Deoctions), and Avalehas. We emphasize the importance of quality control in the preparation of Ayurvedic medicines, and we utilize state-of-the-art laboratory equipment to ensure the safety and efficacy of our products.
In addition to the study of Ayurvedic pharmacology, we also place a strong emphasis on the study of Rasashastra, which is the study of minerals in Ayurveda. Deep understanding of these substances is essential for the preparation of certain Ayurvedic medicines, such as Bhasmas and Rasakarpuras. Our department is equipped with modern laboratory facilities for the preparation of Ayurvedic mineral medicine preparations, and we provide hands-on training to our students to ensure that they are well-equipped to prepare these medicines.
